On November 22, the Shenzhen Federation of Industry and Commerce (the General Chamber of Commerce) held the seventh session of the members’ congress, which was attended by Lin Jie, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and head of the United Front Work Department, Zhang Simin, chairman of the sixth executive committee of the Shenzhen Federation of Industry and Commerce and chairman of the sixth council of the Shenzhen General Chamber of Commerce. There were about 600 member representatives from the municipal, district and sub-district associations of industry and commerce (chambers of commerce) and member enterprises, various trade associations and non-local chambers of commerce. The meeting elected the new Executive Committee of the Federation of Industry and Commerce and the Council of the General Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Zhang Chunhua, Chairman of China Brilliant Group, was elected as the Vice Chairman of Shenzhen Federation of Industry and Commerce.

The 7th Congress of Member Representatives was presided over by Cai Li, Deputy Minister of the United Front Work Department of the Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce. Zhang Simin, chairman of the sixth executive committee of the Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce and chairman of the sixth council of the Municipal General Chamber of Commerce, made a work report to the conference. In the report, Zhang Simin summarized and reviewed the main role and achievements of the Federation of Industry and Commerce in the past five years. In addition, the General Assembly elected the chairman of the Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce and 514 executive members of the Federation of Industry and Commerce. As one of the core members, Chairman Zhang Chunhua said that he would continue to unite and lead China Brilliant employees to actively practice the integrity and law-abiding business values and make positive contributions to the creation of Shenzhen quality and the construction of a happy city for people’s livelihood.
