On July 29, the 6th Commendation Congress for Outstanding Builders of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics among Non-Public Economic Personnel was grandly held in Beijing. Co-hosted by the United Front Work Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the State Administration for Market Regulation, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce and other institutions, the congress was attended by Wang Huning, Member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), who delivered a speech at the event. Li Ganxie, Minister of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Central Committee, presided over the congress. Hao Mingjin, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress and Chairman of the Central Committee of the China National Democratic Construction Association, Chen Yixin, State Councilor and Chairperson of the All-China Women’s Federation, and Gao Yunlong, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC National Committee and Chairman of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, also attended the congress and presented certificates and medals to the 100 awardees of the title “Outstanding Builder of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics” from the non-public economic sector and new social strata. Zhang Chunhua, Member of the CPPCC National Committee, Chairman of Shenzhen Federation of Industry and Commerce and Chairman of China Brilliant Group, was awarded this prestigious title.

As one of the highest honors in China’s non-public economic sector, this title is intended to recognize outstanding individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to the non-public economic field, further inspire the broad masses of non-public economic personnel to firm their ideals and beliefs, shoulder the missions of the times, and gather a strong core force for forging ahead in unity. The conferment of this honor on Zhang Chunhua is a full recognition of his efforts in founding China’s first productive service platform and empowering the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry, as well as a high acknowledgment of his dedication to upgrading the industrial and supply chains and supporting the globalization of Made-in-China products.

Zhang Chunhua expressed his feelings upon receiving the honor, stating, “The glorious title of ‘Outstanding Builder’ fills me with great encouragement and a profound sense of responsibility. I sincerely appreciate the trust of the Party and the country, as well as the entrustment of the times and society. On the new journey, I will unswervingly follow the Party’s lead, vigorously promote the spirit of ‘Outstanding Builders’, hold fast to the aspiration of serving the country, focus wholeheartedly on development, and uphold patriotism and dedication, law-abiding operation, pragmatic innovation and social repayment.”
