On August 23, 2016, the first general meeting of the Shenzhen Association for the Promotion of Foreign Economic Relations, Trade and Investment was held at the Shenzhen Citizen Center. Zhang Chunhua, chairman of China Brilliant Group, was elected as the first president. Gao Lin, Deputy Director of the Municipal Economic and Information Commission, and Lin Xiuhong, Director of the Municipal Economic and Information Commission, and other leaders attended and addressed the meeting.

Since its preparation, Shenzhen Foreign Trade, Economic, Trade and Investment Development Promotion Association has received the attention and support of government leaders at all levels, and passed the approval of the Municipal Economic and Information Commission in August. The members participating in the meeting unanimously passed the draft articles of association of the Association and elected the representatives of the management members of the Association by voting.

At the meeting, Gao Lin, deputy director of the Municipal Economic and Information Commission, warmly congratulated the establishment of the Association, fully affirmed the efforts and contributions of the members present to the economic development of our city, and hoped that many members could actively respond to the call of the Association, pool their strength, and contribute to the development of our city’s economy and foreign trade.

In his speech, Mr. Zhang Chunhua, the president, expressed his gratitude for the support of the members, and encouraged the members of the Association to follow the trend of the times, grasp the pulse of the economy, realize the transformation from ‘small’ to ‘large’ in the new economic era, and make due contributions to the economic and foreign trade development of Shenzhen and even the whole country. The Association will do a good job in member services, help Shenzhen enterprises to better go out and develop, and live up to the expectations of everyone and leaders at all levels.
